Good Car Wrap Advertising Design

It would be fair to say that there are all kinds of car wraps on the road today, running the graphics-gamut from tasteful to gaudy, subtle to obnoxious and all points in between. While it is true that a car wrap should be eye-popping and generate interest, unlike celebrity tabloid publicity, not all press is “good” if it doesn’t generate sales. A successful vehicle wrap actually begins in the design development stage with collaborative thought and strategic planning.

The process is initiated by the Sales Representative who takes the time to interview the Client with a series of leading questions to determine what the objectives are for the marketing effort at hand. Determining the distinctive nature of each business is how a truly custom graphic is created. Asking questions like, “What makes your business different from your competition?” and “How are you unique in the marketplace?” helps to determine what message needs to be conveyed with the vehicle wrap. Narrowing down a list of products or services, locations and contact information is also part of this process.

After a clear picture of the purpose and intent of the graphics is garnered, attention needs to be given to the “canvas” for the art. The size and shape of the vehicle in question is considered for placement of the elements, with special thought to unusual shapes and complex curves. When working with a smaller vehicle, too many images can make a design crowded and illegible. Decisions need to be made about whether or not this is a complete wrap or partial, if windows are part of the overall concept or not, and what surfaces of the vehicle are appropriate for advertising exposure or just wasted space. For instance, unless you want to market to helicopters and small planes, the roof of a vehicle may not warrant much attention. » Read more: Good Car Wrap Advertising Design

Vehicle Wraps For Advertising

If you are a business owner, you know as well as anyone the importance of advertising. The idea of advertising always is to get the word of your company out to as many people as possible, with the lowest cost. Essentially the best way to look at the cost of advertising is to determine how much you are paying per view. So if you pay $250,000 for a commercial and 250,000 people see your commercial, you paid $1 per person viewing your commercial. While commercials and billboards make very good advertising, there is a better way. There is a way that you can bring advertising to the people that need to see it and do it all without doing anything different than you already do. Vehicle wraps are a great way to accomplish all of this and more.

Vehicle wraps can be attained from a number of different businesses and can be applied to almost any car, truck, SUV or even a bus. So if you already have company vehicles, you won’t have to spend any additional money transforming your vehicles into advertising machines. With this type of advertising you will be noticed all over town, and can bring your advertising to any expos or events that are related to your business. This means that the people that will be impacted the most by your advertising, will see it.

Vehicle wraps also stand out in the everyday traffic. Studies have shown that over 90% of people that are in the area of a vehicle wrapped car, notice and read it. This type of advertising trumps any type of billboard or commercial. Most people will drive blindly past billboards, especially in highly trafficked areas, or they will only look a select few. Hoping that your billboard is the one everyone is looking at is one way to advertise, or you could take the safer road and put something out there that everyone will see.

It has been shown that if your vehicles are driven frequently and at normal traffic hours you can advertise for less than half of the cost per viewer as compared to a billboard. Vehicle wraps become even more dominant when compared to other advertising possibilities such as television and radio commercials or magazine and newspaper ads. There is really nothing out on the market today that can take your business and advertise it as powerfully and directly than a vehicle wrap. » Read more: Vehicle Wraps For Advertising
